NVIDIA RTX 4090 >2x Faster than the RTX 3090 in Leaked Bench: 3GHz+ Boost Clocks, 21Gbps GDDR6X Memory

Another 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme benchmark of what appears to be a GeForce RTX 4090 has surfaced over at the Chiphell forums. This time around the 40 series flagship manages to score an impressive 20,192 points, decimating every other GPU on the planet. We’re looking at a gen-over-gen uplift of over 100% or 2x compared to the RTX 3090.

Compared to the present GeForce flagship, the RTX 3090 Ti, we’re looking at a sizable improvement of roughly 80% with the RTX 4090. The Lovelace flagship is a remarkable near-90% faster than the top-end AMD GPU, the Radeon RX 6950 XT.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang plans to unveil the next-gen GeForce graphics cards, including the RTX 4090, 4080, and the 4070 on the 20th of September during GTC 2022.
