AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series Partner Designs (Non-Excl) Delayed to January 2023 [Report]

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards are now in the retail market (mostly) at their MSRPs. Board partner designs are another story, however. Exclusive AIBs, including ASRock, Sapphire, XFX, and PowerColor, have rolled out their variants of Navi 31. Still, non-exclusive brands such as ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI are yet to release their offerings.

Over at Newegg, PowerColor, ASRock, Sapphire, and XFX variants of the Radeon RX 7900 XT are going for $899 to $999. The AMD reference designs are available only through official channels. None of the mainstream AIBs have released their SKUs yet. Furthermore, most RX 7900 XTX listings are out of stock or overpriced beyond reason.

Reports MSI will not have any Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) cards are not true. MSI is skipping MBA (Made by AMD) designs and will present custom designs in Q1 2023.
