AMD has delayed the retail launch of its RDNA 3 flagship to early December due to unknown reasons. This scoop has been brought to us by Greymon55, one of the most reputed sources on Radeon hardware. Per the tipster, the Radeon RX 7900 XT has been delayed by a week to somewhere between the first and third week of December.
The Radeon RX 7900 XT will leverage the Navi 31 core (GCD) alongside six disaggregated memory dies (MCDs). So, we’re looking at a core count of 10,752 paired with a 320-bit bus backed by a 160MB cache buffer. The Radeon RX 7900 XT will come with 20GB of GDDR6 memory, which means a 320-bit memory bus. Furthermore, it won’t be the fastest RDNA 3 GPU, leveraging a cut-down memory bus and GCD. It will compete with the NVIDIA RTX 4090 and make way for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX down the cycle.

The RX 7900 XT will offer a 2x uplift in raster performance and ray tracing over its predecessor. We expect it to level with the latter but fall short in RT workloads. However, there will also be a Radeon RX 7900 XTX based on the full-fledged Navi 31 GPU. This SKU will come with 12,288 cores and 24GB of GDDR6 memory via a 384-bit bus. (provigil online india) It’s being prepped as a rival to the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, which will come with an (almost) fully enabled AD102 die and faster clocks.
