NVIDIA RTX 4080 Generates a Mere $0.72 Mining Ether Per Day and $21 Per Month

Most of us spend our New Year’s with friends and family reminiscing the last twelve months. Not me, though. I decided to test the NVIDIA hardware, and AMD graciously trusted me with. We’ll be looking at the GeForce RTX 4080 and its mining performance in this post. Considering that Ethereum mining is dead and mining for money is a thing of the past, we’ll have a quick look at the numbers:

The GeForce RTX 4080 was paired with the Intel Core i9-13900KF and 16GB of DDR4 memory for the Ethereum mining test, and the results were pretty disappointing. The high-end Ada Lovelace card nets a mere 0.00004349 BTC daily, which translates to $0.72 daily. Every month, we’re looking at a paltry $21.60, which is far from enough to make up for the electricity costs in developed countries.
