Intel Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” CPUs are up to 155% Faster Following Graphics Driver Update

Intel’s latest Arc graphics driver update offers substantial improvements to users gaming on a Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” iGPU. Rolled out on the 26th of January, it adds Game On driver support for the Arc GPUs and iGPUs for the “Last Epoch” and “Sea of Thieves (DX12).” Compared to the previous drivers, the 5333 WHQL release improves the performance of several DX11 games, mostly notably Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Divinity Original Sin 2, It Takes Two, Just Cause 4, Civ VI, and Snowrunner.

These games are up to 155% faster on the Core Ultra processors, compared to the previous driver release. Just Cause 4 (up to 155%), Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (up to 65%), Sid Meier’s Civilization VI (up to 27%), and Snowrunner (up to 49%) get the largest uplifts at 1080p Medium to Normal graphics settings.
