Intel Core i9-13900K GB5 Leak: Beats 64 Core AMD Threadripper in Multi-Threaded Benchmark

Another benchmark of the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K has surfaced in the form of a Geekbench 5 record. This time we’re looking at the final retail variant. The Raptor Lake-S chip scores a solid 26,464 points in the multi-threaded and 2,314 points in the single-threaded benchmark. For reference, the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X records 25,500 points while the Core i9-12900K manages just a bit over 17,000 points, trailing its successor by at least 50%.

The single-threaded score is equally impressive with 2,314 points, beating the Ryzen 9 5950X by over 40% and the Core i9-12900K by nearly 20%. The CPU was paired with an ASRock Z690 Taichi and 32GB of DDR5 memory. The processor itself had a base clock of 3GHz and a boost of 5.76GHz which is what the market spec is going to be. Keep in mind that real-world gains will be much smaller as Geekbench is heavily influenced by memory and cache bandwidth, unlike most applications.

A Cinebench R23 benchmark of the Core i9-13900K has also been discovered. The CPU scores 39,086 points in the multi-threaded benchmark, thereby beating the AMD Threadripper 3960X by roughly 15% and 12900K by over 40%. In the single-threaded test, we see an advantage of 35% and 13% over the Ryzen 9 5950X and 12900K, respectively.
