Intel Core i9-13900HX Mobile Nearly as Fast as AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Desktop in Geekbench 6

We’ve been testing the Razer Blade 16 featuring the Core i9-13950HX and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4090. This post will focus on the CPU performance in the newly released Geekbench 6 benchmark. The other day we shared the processor’s Cinebench R20 and R23 scores and got some sweet numbers. The Core i9-13950HX is nearly twice as fast as the Ryzen 9 6900HX, AMD’s current fastest mobility chip.

The Geekbench 6 scores are similar, with the 13950HX scoring 2,737 points in the single-core and 16,569 in the multi-core benchmark. That’s incredible for a notebook processor. It’s as fast as the Ryzen 9 7950X desktop chip in single-core and nearly as fast in the multi-core benchmark.

Now that we’re here might as well have a look at the OpenCL performance of the GeForce RTX 4090 mobility GPU. With 190,024 points in the open-source benchmark, the top-end mobility GPU is roughly as fast as the desktop-grade RTX 3090 (scores 199,120).
