Intel Arc A730M GPU Debuts with $1,255 Gaming Notebook in China: 12GB VRAM and RTX 3050 Ti/3060 Levels of Gaming Performance

Intel’s Arc A730M GPU has debuted in China with regional OEM Machenike’s Discovery Edition 2022 gaming laptop. The notebook is powered by the 12th Gen Core i7-12700H (6P+8E cores) CPU, the Arc A730M GPU, and 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory. It has an impressive 16″ 1440p display with a refresh rate of 165Hz which covers the entirety of the sRGB color spectrum. The GPU features 24 Xe-Cores, 12GB GDDR6 memory, and a 256-bit bus. This puts it somewhere along with the NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti, and 3060 mobile.

The laptop has a starting price of 8,499 RMB or $1,255 USD which is quite impressive as comparable Intel-NVIDIA SKUs cost at least $1,499 in the US. It’s unclear when these will be available in the rest of the world, but I’d expect a post-summer launch.
