Intel 13th Gen Core i9-13900K up to 50% Faster than the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors are faster than the Ryzen 7000 processors in gaming workloads 9 out of 10 times, but in some cases, there isn’t even a competition. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one such title. The Core i9-13900K, when paired with the GeForce RTX 4090 and DDR5-5600 memory, averages an impressive 119 FPS. (buy zolpidem extended release (ambien cr)) In comparison, the Ryzen 9 7950X is limited to just 80 FPS on average, about 50% slower than its rival.

Going by the comments, this is a memory bottleneck. The Raptor Lake chips feature a faster memory controller and memory, giving them a massive advantage in this title. The 12th and 13th Gen Core processors have a bandwidth of 93GB/s in intensive workloads, while the Ryzen 9 7950X is limited to 66GB/s. That’s a 50% bandwidth delta between the two, right in line with the performance gap.
