Horizon Forbidden West PC Specs: NVIDIA RTX 4080 and 150GB SSD Storage for 4K 60 FPS

The PC hardware requirements for the PC version of Horizon: Forbidden West have been revealed. The mediocre open-world title is slated to hit Steam later this month (probably for $70). The former PS5 exclusive demands lofty GPU processing power with 150GB of SSD storage. Luckily, the CPU requirements are fairly modest, with the 3-year-old Core i7-11700 recommended for “Very High” settings at 60 FPS. The system requirements for 720p 30 FPS “Very Low,” 1080p 60 FPS “Medium,” 1440p 60 FPS “High,” and 4K 60 FPS “Very High” are as follows:

Minimum Specs (720p @ 30 FPS: Very Low Quality)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i3-8100.
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
  • Memory: 16 GB.
  • Storage: 150GB SSD storage.

Recommended Specs (1080p @ 60 FPS: Medium Quality)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i5-8600.
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.
  • Memory: 16 GB.
  • Storage: 150GB SSD storage.

High Specs (1440p @ 60 FPS/ 4K @ 30 FPS: High Quality)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800
  • Memory: 16 GB.
  • Storage: 150GB SSD storage.

Ultra Specs (4K @ 60 FPS: Very High Quality)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i7-11700.
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.
