AMD’s Radeon RX 6500 XT Price Drops Below Official MSRP for the First Time (in Germany)

AMD’s Radeon RX 6500 XT is a bit of an abomination with its 64-bit bus, 4GB memory buffer, and a paltry 16MB L3 cache. Regardless, it’s the only GPU that’s selling at its MSRP of $199 across most markets. At first, the market demand was pretty crazy but as prices of other SKUs have continued to fall, we are seeing a notable regression. So much so that retailers have started dropping the prices below the MSRPs, a first for this generation of GPUs

At the moment, Mindfactory (Germany) is selling several models of the Radeon RX 6500 XT for just €179, €20 below the official MSRP of €199. You can expect other GPUs to follow similar trends this summer.
