AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D was the #1 Bestseller Thru BF, Sold 5x More than Intel’s Entire 14th Gen

The Black Friday sales figures are in, and it looks like the CPU segment was heavily AMD-favored. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D firmly held the top spot, selling nearly 3,400 units at Mindfactory (Germany) alone. Over at Amazon USA, the 3D V-Cache chip sold over 10,000 units in November, outpacing the Core i7-13700K, Intel’s most popular SKU. Moreover, none of the 14th Gen Core CPUs figured in the top ten or even the top fifteen, as the 14900K sold just over 2,000 units.

Mindfactory (Germany)

At Mindfactory, Germany (courtesy of TechEpiphany), the Ryzen 7 7800X3D sold 3,370 units, 16x more than the most popular Intel CPU, the Core i7-13700K (#13 spot with just 210 units sold). The Ryzen 7 5800X3D ended second on the bestseller’s chart, with 1090 units sold. The R7 5700X was the third most popular SKU, followed by the Ryzen 5 7600 and 7600X, with 1030, 600, and 440 units sold, respectively.

Amazon (USA)

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D continued its stint as the #1 bestseller on Amazon’s bestsellers’ chart, followed by the Ryzen 5 5600X and the Ryzen 9 5900X at #2 and #3, respectively. The Ryzen 7 5800X and 5700X hold the #4 and #5, leading up to the sixth-ranked Core i7-13700K, Intel’s most popular SKU at the retailer.

Numbers compiled by TechEpiphany indicate that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D sold over 10,000 units, followed by the Ryzen 5 5600X and 5800X with similar sales figures. The Core i7-13700K managed to rack in over 8,000 units, followed by the 5900X and the 12600K, each with 7,000 units sold. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Core i7-12700KF, and the R5 7600 were the other three SKUs to top the 5K mark.

Newegg

Newegg isn’t any different. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D retains the top spot with an MSRP of $358, followed by the 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Core i7s at #2, #3, and #4. The Core i9-14900K holds the fifth spot, while the Core i5-12600KF comes in at #6. The Ryzen 9 7900X ranks eighth, and the Ryzen 7 5700X manages the ninth rank.

In conclusion, we can say that the 14th Gen Core family has largely remained an outlier while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and its AM4 predecessors dominate the consumer mindscape.
