AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: The #1 Bestseller at Amazon, Newegg, BB, Mindfcty: Sells 3x More than Intel’s Entire 14th Gen

AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D is now the #1 bestselling processor across three of the largest retailers in the world. At Newegg US, the 8-core V-Cache chip is the top-seller CPU, followed by the Core i7-12700K, 13700K, and the i9-13900K. The last-gen AM4 parts have finally been dislodged from the top five. Then again, the only Zen 4 (non-3D) CPU among the top ten is the Ryzen 9 7900X at #10.

At Amazon US, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the most popular CPU, followed by a bunch of AM4 parts and the Core i7-13700K at #6. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D comes in at #7, while the Core i9-14900K clings onto the ninth spot.

Courtesy of Tech Epiphany, we’ve got the Mindfactory numbers from Germany. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D sits at the top, with over a thousand units sold through week 44. That is 3x higher than Intel’s entire 14th Gen CPU sales for the week. Unfortunately for Team Blue, none of the Raptor Lake-SR parts are among the top ten anymore. If it’s any consolation, the Zen 4 chips aren’t doing much better, either.

B&H, another retailer from the US, has an unusual list of bestsellers. The Ryzen 7 7600X is at the top, followed by the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and the Core i9-13900KS. Two of these chips aren’t among the bestsellers anywhere else.

BestBuy tends to have some of the hottest discounts on PC hardware. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is again the bestseller, followed by the Ryzen 5 5600X, 5800X3D, and the Core i5-12400F. Don’t mind the 13900K, tis an ad (sponsored).

And finally, Microcenter, where the bestsellers haven’t changed much since our last visit. The Core i7-13700K leads the pack with the Ryzen 7 7700X and the i9-12900K at #2 and #3, respectively. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D holds the fourth spot, followed by the 7900X and a weary Core i9-14900K.
