AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Falls to $209.99, Ryzen 9 5950X Drops to $549.99 ($250 Off): Lowest Prices Ever

Just a few days back, we had reported that the Ryzen 5000 flagship was down to an all-time low price of $599 on Amazon and Newegg. In less than three days, Microcenter has reported with its own set of discounts, bringing the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X to just $549, a steep $250 discount on the MSRP. Along with the top-end Zen 3 SKU, the entry-level hex-core Ryzen 5 5600X is also going for its lowest ever price of $209.99.

The Ryzen 5 5600X is a six-core CPU with twelve threads, courtesy of SMT. It has a base clock of 3.7GHz and a boost of 4.7GHz (4.6GHz official). It features a single Zen 3 CCD consisting of 32MB of L3 cache, and 3MB of L2 cache. It has a TDP of 65W, and an official MSRP of $299.

The Ryzen 9 5950X is a sixteen-core CPU with thirty-two threads, courtesy of SMT. It has a base clock of 3.4GHz and a boost of 4.7GHz (4.6GHz official). It features two Zen 3 CCDs consisting of 64MB of L3 cache, and 8MB of L2 cache. It has a TDP of 105W and an official MSRP of $799.

Finally, we have the Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X. These are 12 and 8 core SKUs, respectively. Both have a TDP of 105W and are suitable for overclocking. The former has a base clock of 3.7GHz while the latter pushes it up to 3.8GHz. The Ryzen 7 5800X is presently going for $299 (down from $449.99), and the Ryzen 9 5900X is being sold for $399 (down from $549.99).
