Watch Dogs Legion may support ray-tracing on the next-gen Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles, but there is a wide gulf between them and the PC ultra RT settings. As keenly observed by a Reddit user, both the consoles’ ray-tracing quality is on par with the PC medium preset.

The BVH radius for various objects is more than twice as much on PC’s ultra compared to the consoles. This means more and more objects will be converted into BVH structures and tested to ray-box/triangle intersections on the PC, compared to the XSX/PS5, resulting in wider coverage and higher resolution reflections as well.
Considering the performance, the consoles are on par with an RTX 2060 Super running at 4K with the medium RT quality preset. The Series X leverages a dynamic resolution, ranging between 1440p and 2160p, mainly staying below 1800p, while the Series S hovers between 900p and 1080p, with a reflection quality of just 720p!
