Five years post-launch and the Witcher 3 still continues to impress, winning awards and breaking new barriers. The game’s latest achievement is that it has become the second highest-rated game on Steam with 98% positive reviews. Out of a total of around 399K reviews, 392K are positive, with just 7K negative:
At the time of launch, the game was ranked at #141 but has made rapid strides ever since, reaching #2 by the end of 2017. Interestingly, the game has been getting lot more reviews in recent years (especially 2020) compared to the year it launched. The Netflix series really seems to have helped and might just push CDPR to make another Witcher game.
