Sea of Thieves to run at 4K 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X|1080p 60 FPS on the Series S

Microsoft’s first-party pirate coop game, Sea of Thieves will run at 4K 60 FPS on the next-gen Xbox Series X and a rather mild 1080p 60 FPS on the Series S. This was announced by the game’s official Twitter handle. Along with the resolution upgrades, you can also look forward to faster load times and higher graphics details.

As per users, the load times from the menu to the tavern was 15-20 second on the Series X, with roughly similar intervals for the Series S. There’s no word on whether the game will support ray-tracing (DXR), but that’s unlikely without significant API upgrades, as it’s based on an early version of DX12. The patch is already out on the new consoles, so you can try it out in case you haven’t already. (kaieteurnewsonline.com)
