Schenker Launches All-AMD Laptop w/ Ryzen 5 4600H & Ryzen 7 4800H: Starting 876 Euros

Remember how I complained that there were no 45W (gaming) Renoir laptops without redundant discrete cards such as the MX250 or MX350? Schenker has become the first OEM to address that issue by launching its Via 15 Pro laptop that features the Ryzen 4000 APUs without a dGPU. The graphics are solely powered by the on-board 7nm Vega iGPU:

Despite lacking a dedicated GPU, the laptop certainly ain’t cheap. The stripped down model with a Ryzen 5 4600H, 8GB (single-channel) 2666MHz memory and a 256GB Kingston A2000 SSD costs a considerable 875 Euros.

Luckily as is tradition with most Schenker products, the Via 15 Pro is highly customizable. You can opt for a Ryzen 7 4800H, Corsair’s dual-channel 3200MHz memory and Samsung’s 970 EVO/Pro SSDs. That does, however come at a cost, bringing the entire cost to around a grand.

The notebook comes with 36 months of replacement warranty with pickup and return with the stock package and can be upgraded to cover secondary coverage. The display is the only thing that’s not customizable. You get a 15.6″ 1080p display with 100% sRGB gamut coverage. (exceptionalpets)

The Schenker Via 15 has an impressive 91Wh battery and a 90W power supply. The laptop weighs 1.5 kg and has a thickness of 1.68 cm with the lid closed. You may buy it here.
