Ryzen 5 5600/5600X Still the Top-Selling AMD CPU, Core i9-13900K Intel’s Bestseller, Ryzen 7950X3D Out of Stock

Over two years post-launch, AMD’s hex-core Ryzen 5000 CPUs still dominate most markets’ sales charts. The Ryzen 5 5600 and 5600X are among the top-five bestselling processors at nearly every major retailer. On Intel’s end, things are quite the opposite. The newly released Core i9-13900K and i7-13700K are the primary sales drivers on the Blue charts. We went through popular online retailers and compiled the following results.

Starting with the staples, we have Newegg and Amazon US. Both retailers see the Ryzen 5 5600/5600X hold the top spot, followed by the Ryzen 7 5800X/5700X and Intel’s Core i9-13900K at #2 and #3, respectively. Newegg sees the Core i7-12700K, 13700K, and 12900K take the #4, #5, and #7 spot, respectively. Amazon buyers, on the other hand, favor the Ryzen 5000 family, including the 5800X3D, 5600G, 5700X, and 5700G. The Core i7-12700K/13700K takes the #8 and #9 spots.

BHPhotoVideo is another popular store among DIYers, and it shows. The $730 Core i9-13900KS is the top-selling SKU, with the 13900K at the second spot. The Ryzen 5 5500 sits at an awkward #3 spot, followed by the Ryzen 9 7950X, Core i7-12700K, and 13700K at #4, #5, and #6, respectively. Last but not least, the Ryzen 9 7900X holds the seventh spot, and the 5600 also manages to stay among the top ten.

The Ryzen 9 7900X is Microcenter’s most popular processor at the time of writing. The Core i9-13900K and i7-13700K come in at #2 and #3, respectively. AMD’s hex-core Ryzen 5 5600X retains its position among the top ten with a price of $154 alongside the Ryzen 7 5800X3D at #8, going for $299.

Overclockers UK is a well-known hardware store among British DIYers. The Zen 3 stack continues to rule the bestsellers’ chart. The Ryzen 5600X, 5900X, 5800X, and 5950X hold the top four positions, while the Core i7-12700K is the top-ranked Intel chip at #5. The Core i9-12900K and 12600K are ranked #6 and #7, respectively. Interestingly, the Core i9-13900K and Ryzen 7 5800X3D are not ranked.

Amazon UK buyers follow similar trends as their US counterparts. The Ryzen 5 5600X is the most sold CPU, followed by half a dozen Zen 3 SKUs, including the 5800X3D and 5600 (non-X). The Core i5-13600K and i7-13700K are the most sold Intel chips at #8 and #10, respectively.

In the end, we have a look at the Mindfactory figures brought to us by @TechEpiphany. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D remains the bestseller for the nth consecutive week, followed by nearly every other Vermeer part. The Core i7-13700K and i5-13600K are Intel’s most popular SKUs at #8 and #9, respectively. The Ryzen 7 7700X is the top-ranked Zen 4 chip at #10.
