Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC) Getting DLSS Patch on 13th July

In a blog post, Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Online will be getting a new content update going by the name “Blood Money” on the 13th of July. More interestingly, both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Online will be getting a patch enabling DLSS upscaling tech on NVIDIA RTX graphics cards. This is a much-needed feature as the game runs quite horribly on PC despite lacking ray-tracing or any advanced graphics technologies for that matter.

As part of the July 13 update, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online on PC will offer NVIDIA DLSS technology support to all Windows users with Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards. This new feature increases the frame rate and generates sharp images.

It’s unclear whether the game will feature the newer DLSS 2.2 implementation or the older variant, but in either case, it should be easy to use the former using the .dll file from Lego Builders or Rainbow Six Siege.
