Phil Spencer: Many More Third-Party Games to Come to Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Lead, Phil Spencer has said that the Game Pass Team is working to bring many more third-party games to the subscription service. In a Tweet, Spencer said that in addition to all of Microsoft’s first-party titles, the Game Pass team is focused on bringing many more third party games as well to the service as well.

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise as MS has precious little on the first-party front at the moment. Although there are some really decent titles such as Grounded, Sea of Thieves, and Halo, Sony has a much wider library with games like God of War, Spiderman, GoT, Death Stranding, etc.

As far as the next-gen consoles are concerned, Xbox already has an advantage on the hardware side, and with studios like Obsidian, InXile, Ninja Theory in Spencer’s pocket, we’re bound to see more and more first-party games as well.
