NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4080 is Now £100 Cheaper than its MSRP in the UK: Buy for £1,099.99

The GeForce RTX 4080 has dropped below its hefty MSRP in the United Kingdom. As part of the Christmas sale, AWD is offering the Palit GeForce RTX 4080 Gamerock for £1,099.99. While still a steep asking price for what should be a sub-$1000 GPU, it’s the first time it has dropped below its $1,199 MSRP at a major retailer:

A few days back, it was reported that NVIDIA plans to cut the price of the RTX 4080 to make it more competitive against the Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Rumors coming out of China indicate that the price of the GeForce RTX 4080 will be trimmed around mid-December, right after the launch of the Radeon RX 7900 series. The RX 7900 XT will be priced at $899, and the RX 7900 XTX at $999, substantially cheaper than NVIDIA’s RTX 4080.
