NVIDIA to Launch the RTX 4090 in August, RTX 4080 in September, and the RTX 4070 in October [Rumor]

NVIDIA will reportedly launch the GeForce RTX 4090 in August to maximize the sales of the high-margin SKU, followed by the RTX 4080 in September, and the midrange RTX 4070 in October. This info was sourced by Videocardz according to whom the AD102 die powering the 4090 will be sharing the PG139 board with the RTX 4080’s AD103 die. There’s still no confirmation from the chipmaker regarding the specifications or the prices of these SKUs.

There’s a catch, however. Due to excessive RTX 30 series inventory, Jensen will probably want to delay the launch by a bit. Therefore, you can expect the RTX 4090 to launch in September, and the RTX 4080 later that month or October, followed by the RTX 4070 in November or late October.

This is an unorthodox launch schedule as in the past, the x70 and x80 cards have mostly been released together a few months after the Titan or the x90.
