NVIDIA RTX 4090 on Track to Launch in October, RTX 4080/4070 May Launch as Well [Report]

A new report from Moore’s Law is Dead indicates that NVIDIA’s Lovelace flagship is on track for an early Q4 launch. The chipmaker has apparently informed its board partners of the embargo dates of the first RTX 40 series SKU. Going by the info provided by MLID’s sources, the RTX 4090 seems set for an official launch in October.

Furthermore, the RTX 4080 and/or 4070 might also launch in the same quarter as NVIDIA is going to great lengths to allocate enough inventory for the same. AMD seems to be doing the same with its upcoming RDNA 3 graphics cards. We already know that the RX 7700 XT and the 7900 XT will be launching sometime in the same quarter.

RTX 4000 Series Launch Leak: Lovelace Launches October, not 2023 (+ Navi 33 & ARC Update)

Speaking of the Intel Arc lineup, Tom’s sources don’t expect the first few generations to have a significant impact on the market. Furthermore, the professional Arc cards have also been temporarily shelved. All in all, the Visual Computing Group (now named AXG) won’t be making profits anytime soon.
