The first images of NVIDIA’s custom RTX 4090 models have surfaced, including the Zotac RTX 4090 AMP Extreme. The board partner has overhauled the heatsink (and possibly the PCB design) with a brand new approach, one resembling older SKUs. Furthermore, the graphics card appears to be a triple-width design at the least with three fans and a metal backplate. We can see at least eight to nine aluminum heat pipes with angular edges.

In addition to the Zotac SKU, a bunch of Gigabyte variants have also been spotted over at the EEC portal, including the:
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE (GV-N4090AORUSX W-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERBLOCK (GV-N4090AORUSX WB-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME (GV-N4090AORUS X-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS MASTER (GV-N4090AORUS M-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS ELITE (GV-N4090AORUS E-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC (GV-N4090GAMING OC-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING (GV-N4090GAMING-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 EAGLE OC (GV-N4090EAGLE OC-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 EAGLE (GV-N4090EAGLE-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X OC (GV-N4090WF3OC-24GD)
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X (GV-N4090WF3-24GD)
This looks like the standard Gigabyte lineup, and not all of them are guaranteed to make the cut, especially considering that this is the flagship. Either way, we’re looking at brand new designs capable of handling substantially higher power and thermal limits.
