NVIDIA RTX 4080 Graphics Card Prices are Dropping Slowly but Steadily

The GeForce RTX 4080 is one of the most overpriced graphics cards to hit the market. Offering 30-35% more frames than the similarly priced RTX 3080 Ti, the 4080 has an MSRP of $1,199 but cost notably more at the launch time. The Zotac Gaming variant went live for 1,519 Euros, dropping to 1,499 a day later and an even lower 1,469 the week after. At the moment, it’s going for 1,449 Euros.

The price trends are similar on Amazon. The Zotac model launched at $1,642 on Nov 16th, gradually dropping to $1,359 over the next 6-7 days. Neither card is available at its MSRP at the time of writing, $200 higher than its sticker price.

The GeForce RTX 4090, on the other hand, has been fluctuating between $2,600 and $1,900 since its Oct 21st launch, still priced well over its $1,599 MSRP.
