NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Rumored to Feature 5,248 Cores and 12GB GDDR6X VRAM

According to sources, NVIDIA’s next-gen flagship, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will feature an insane core count of 5,248 cores and a video memory of 12GB GDDR6X. The card will be based on the GA102 die just like the RTX 3080 and come with beefed up ray-tracing capabilities. In comparison, the 3080 is speculated to come with around 4350 shaders and 8GB of GDDR6X memory across a 256-bit bus.

As per the same source, the entire Ampere consumer lineup will be fabbed on Samsung’s 8nm LPP process. That means we’re probably looking at the biggest possible dies on the 10nm process and considerably toastier GPUs:
