NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Reportedly Delayed to Mid-May

As per a report from IT Home, NVIDIA has once again delayed the launch of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to mid-May (from mid-April). This means that the RTX 3080 Ti will launch alongside the RTX 3070 Ti which is slated for a May launch as well. This would make sense as the company generally launches multiple products at once, and can be thought of as a Summer refresh:

Where the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will slot in between the RTX 3080 and 3090 with a price tag of $999, the RTX 3070 Ti is expected to cost $599, bridging the gap between the RTX 3080 and 3070. This means that while the former will go up against the similarly priced Radeon RX 6900 XT, the latter will trade blows with the Radeon RX 6800 which is faster than the 3070 but quite a bit slower than the 3080.

The RTX 3080 Ti is expected to be nearly on par with the 3090 in terms of gaming performance, but there Ti should be some decent margin between the 3070 Ti and the 3080 as we’ve seen in the past.
