NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Drops Below MSRP: $1,049 on Newegg for the First Time

NVIDIA’s Ampere gaming flagship the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (3090/3090 Ti are crap) has dropped below its MSRP of $1,199 for the first time since launch. The Gigabyte Gaming RTX 3080 Ti is now priced at $1,099 on Newegg with a rebate coupon, further cutting the price by $50 to $1,049. That’s nearly the same as the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT. Featuring a boost clock of 1,710MHz (1,665MHz reference), a triple fan design, dual-BIOS, RGB Fusion lighting, and a metal backplate, this premium variant of the RTX 3080 Ti comes with all the bells and whistles of a top-end flagship.

It’s unclear whether the price has been dropped to $1,049 permanently, but I reckon the $1,099 (no coupon price) is here to stay. The next-gen GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 is set to launch in October and November, respectively so retailers will be looking to get rid of excess stock with each month.
