NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti to Feature 8GB of Memory and 256-Bit Bus, 3060 to get up to 12GB

In response to AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics cards, NVIDIA is looking to increase its VRAM buffers across the board. As per our regular source, kopitekimi, the GeForce RTX 3060 will pack as much as 12GB of memory, twice as much as the RTX 2060. It’s likely that NVIDIA will offer a 6GB as well as 12GB variant of the card, with the latter costing a $50 premium.

This means that the card will stick to its 192-bit bus, resulting in roughly the same bandwidth as the RTX 2060. As far as the 3050 Ti is concerned, we’re looking at 6GB of GDDR6X memory and a 192-bit bus which means that the 3050 may get a 192-bit bus as well along with the same amount of memory as the Ti variants usually have a higher core count, rather than a wider bus and memory.

Finally, we have the RTX 3060 Ti, which will is expected to come with 8GB of memory and a 256-bit bus, the same as the RTX 3070. All these parts are expected to be launched in January, right alongside AMD’s lower-end RDNA 2 parts.
