NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti Offers better Mining Perf than the Radeon RX 5700 at just 120W

NVIDIA’s upcoming graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti may just what most gamers need, but it looks like cryptominers have already gotten their hands on some AIB cards. As per this Chiphell thread, a user has managed to test the mining performance of an RTX 3060 Ti and posted some impressive results.

With the TDP capped at just 120W, the RTX 3060 Ti achieved 61 MH/s which is 10 units higher than the Radeon RX 5700 (160W), and that too at a much lower power draw. With the full TDP of 200W, it will likely perform on par with the RX 5700 XT and possibly even the RTX 2080. (Zolpidem) The higher FP32 core count and wider bandwidth are two primary reasons why the Ampere cards perform so well in mining.
