NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti just 10% and 15% Slower than the RTX 3070 & RX 6800 in Gaming

The Ashes Escalation benchmark has leaked the performance of yet another upcoming graphics card. Yes, we’re talking about the RTX 3060 Ti which is supposed to be NVIDIA’s gift to mainstream gamers, offering RTX 2080 Super levels of performance for just $399.

Looking at the above results, it seems that this might just be the most popular graphics card of this generation, selling roughly as much as the GTX 970 and the 1060. At $399, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is just 10% slower than the RTX 3070 ($499) and 15% slower than the Radeon RX 6800 ($579). If you ask me, that’s pretty insane value.

You may counter this argument by saying that this is just one game and the final figures will likely vary, and I agree, but Ashes is one of the most optimized titles on PC and generally gives a good idea about the relative performance of upcoming graphics cards.
