NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti Expected to Launch After the RTX 3070

It appears that the next 30 series graphics card from NVIDIA will be the RTX 3060 Ti. Packing as many as 4864 cores and based on the GA104 GPU same as the RTX 3070, it’ll be paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Compared to the latter, it’ll feature 8 fewer SMs, or 1024 cores less.

As far as the launch date is concerned, it’ll likely come out in November or December, right in time for Christmas. The memory configuration is said to be the same as the RTX 3070 with a bus-width of 256-bit and a bandwidth of 448GB/s, nearly the same as the RTX 2080.

This graphics card should be faster than the GPUs on the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles while costing around $399. It’ll only be marginally slower than the RTX 3070, with a TDP of around 180W.

The RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 Ti/Super with 16GB of memory are expected to launch after AMD unveils its Big Navi graphics card based on the Navi 21 GPU die.
