NVIDIA RTX 3060 6GB Variant Spotted (Again)

Although NVIDIA’s midrange Ampere graphics card, the RTX 3060 launched with a 12GB VRAM buffer, a 6GB variant has been spotted multiple times on the internet. Recently, the latter once again surfaced on the RRA certification database, indicating that we might actually see the cut-down variant in the future:

The 6GB variant is a Palit board partner card under the Dual D6 and the Dual OC brand. The manifest was filed today itself and while it’s unclear whether we’ll actually see in the 6GB model hit retail, an OEM-exclusive variant is highly likely. NVIDIA has done something similar with the GTX 1650 in the past, both in the mobile as well as the desktop markets.
