NVIDIA Reportedly Ramping Up Supply of the GeForce RTX 3060 from Ending July

According to Eastern media, NVIDIA is planning to ramp up the supply of its budget Ampere SKU, the GeForce RTX 3060, with an aim to satisfy the growing needs of internet cafes and gaming centers in the region. The chipmaker has notified board partners that supply for the mid-tier card will increase substantially starting from the end of the month. The first supply run will be almost exclusively directed towards internet and gaming cafes, followed by retailers in the coming month.

Furthermore, all future supply, including that meant for cafes will utilize the updated Ampere GA105-302 core which comes with an updated mining block, and feature the LHR label. The stocks of the original model have been mostly cleared out and won’t be further updated.

Meanwhile, both Ethereum and Bitcoin prices continued to plummet over the week, with the latter hitting its lowest price for 2021. Combined with the increased network difficulty and impending transition to Ethereum 2.0, the mining bubble seems to be ending for good. As already reported earlier, the prices of graphics cards have already started to stabilize in view of the diminishing returns from cryptomining.
