The ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 OC Gaming, the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Vulcan-X, the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Neptune D and the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Vulkan X-OC we’re both recently listed on Taobao, a Chinese e-commerce platform. The Taobao listings confirm that OEM models of NVIDIA’s Ampere lineup are getting prepped and should be ready shortly after the launch.

This is potentially good news for those who were put off by worrying rumors about the Founder’s Edition GeForce RTX 3090, including extremely high power consumption and a substantial price markup.
With Turing, many buyers found the custom version of the Turing series to perform better while either costing the same or less than Founder’s Edition cards. It’ll be interesting to see if that trend continues with Ampere, especially considering the possibility of a price hike.

At least two of the parts listed here, the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 OC Gaming and the Colorful RTX 3090 Vulkan X-OC are overclocked models, meaning they should deliver superior performance right out of the box. We expect NVIDIA to formally announce the Ampere series lineup later this week and we will keep you posted. (anewcareer) Keep in mind that the launch prices will likely be lower than the above listed ones. We expect the RTX 3090 to go for around $1,400 to 1,500.
