NVIDIA DLSS 3 is Being Adopted 7x Faster than DLSS 2: Sackboy Gets DLSS 3 and SER in the Latest Update

The adoption of NVIDIA’s next-gen DLSS 3 technology is going at a stellar pace. Since its late 2022 release, nearly 50 games have been confirmed to support it, with 30 titles already available. This makes it 7x more popular than DLSS 2 during the initial six-month adoption period. This week, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the latest game to get a DLSS performance upgrade.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure launched last October with support for DLSS 2, ray-traced reflections, ray-traced shadows, and ray-traced ambient occlusion. This adventure is a true test of mettle for any system when enjoyed in 4K with all options maxed out.

The latest update for Sackboy: A Big Adventure supports NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA Reflex, and Shader Execution Reordering (SER), multiplying performance for GeForce RTX 40 Series gamers. The technology preview of Cyberpunk 2077’s Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode will be released on April 11th.

The technology preview for Cyberpunk 2077’s Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode enhances the game’s visuals with full ray tracing, otherwise known as path tracing. It provides a sneak peek into the future of full ray tracing, and NVIDIA is working with CD PROJEKT RED on further full ray tracing enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.
