NVIDIA Ampere Board Partner Graphics Cards to Launch w/ FE in September

Earlier, it had been reported that NVIDIA’s board partner graphics cards may get slightly delayed, with a potential launch date in October or even November. However, as per a report from Tweaktown, that’s not quite the case. Sources close to the outlet have confirmed that the custom cards will be launching right along with the Founders Edition cards.

As per the editor, third party ASIC cards will hit retail shelves in September itself, around the same time as the reference or Founders Edition cards. Usually, NVIDIA launches the Founder’s Edition a month or two earlier than the board partner variants, charging a premium for them.

This might be the first time in recent history that the ASIC cards for a new GeForce lineup launch alongside the Founders Edition or just weeks after them. We’ll keep you posted.
