Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro with Intel 11th Gen i7 CPU & NVIDIA MX450 dGPU Spotted

Lenovo seems on track to upgrade its Yoga Slim lineup with Intel’s upcoming Tiger Lake CPUs and NVIDIA’s MX450 discrete GPUs. As per marketing materials spotted by sources, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro will feature up to a Core i7-1165G7 CPU (w/ Gen12 Xe graphics) and the yet unannounced NVIDIA MX450 GPU.

The latter is a much welcome upgrade as the Pascal-based MX350 barely managed to keep up with the 7nm Radeon Vega 8 iGPU, let alone the full-fledged version of the 96EU Gen 12 Xe graphics.

Other than the Tiger Lake CPU and MX400 series GPU, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro will come with Dolby Vision support, Alexa integration, WiFi 6, and a battery life of up to 16 hours.

The keypads have been redesigned to feature a new dome-shaped design and rapid-charge via USB-C promising 80% charging in just an hour has also been added. The display is a standard 1080p IPS panel covering 100% of the sRGB gamut with an impressive 91% ARR screen ratio.

Intel is expected to announce (or perhaps launch) the Tiger Lake based devices on 2nd September, so relevant models should hit retail by late Sep or early Nov.
