Intel Launches Performance Maximizer for Auto-Overclocking 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S CPUs

Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S processors are finally out (officially) although the reception was less than positive. Either way, all the different NDAs are now lifted and various board partners and OEMs are unveiling their respective offerings for the new Core lineup. Intel also released the Performance Maximizer for the 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S CPUs today.

Intel® Performance Maximizer is an innovative, hyper-intelligent automatic processor overclocking tool. The tool makes it easier than ever to dynamically custom tune an unlocked Intel processor based upon its individual performance potential. Whether you’re seeking an added speed boost to gain a gaming edge or need your system to keep pace with your creativity, Intel Performance Maximizer is a new way to confidently bring added performance to your system.

Intel Performance Maximimer is somewhat similar to CTR for AMD’s Ryzen processors, albeit with fewer functions. It lets you overclock your Intel CPU with one click. Granted, auto-overclocking tools will never be as efficient as manual overclocking, they still allow the mainstream user to extract a bit more performance from their chip without going through any complex BIOS options.
