Content creation benchmarks of the Core i9-13900KS have surfaced on Twitter. The 24-core CPU (8P+16E) will be the first to hit the 6GHz boost clock barrier on the fastest P-core, up from 5.8GHz on the 13900K. We’re looking at a better-binned version of the same chip with a higher base power draw.

The Cinebench R23 benchmarks come from @g01d3nm4ng0 on Twitter. We see a modest bump in single and multi-threaded performance over the Core i9-13900K with a lead of up to 15% over the Ryzen 9 7950X. We should see a larger delta in gaming workloads, as that’s where the Golden/Raptor Cove cores really shine.

The Core i9-13900KS is set to launch on the 12th of Jan for a hefty price of $750-800 after a CES 2023 reveal.
