Intel Core i5-12600K Beats the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X to Become the #1 Bestseller on Newegg

Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake processors continue to sell like hotcakes among PC gamers. For the first time since launch, the Core i5-12600K has dethroned AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600X to take the top spot on Newegg’s list of bestselling CPUs. Thanks to a temporary price cut which brings it down to $262, the 12600K has become the most popular desktop chip on the platform.

The Core i9-12900K comes in second, also with a discounted price ($599), followed by the Ryzen 5 5600X ($209), Ryzen 7 5700G ($253), and the Core i7-12700K ($381).

Other than the rise of the Core i9-12900K to #5, things are largely unchanged over at Amazon. The Ryzen 9 5900X and 5600X stand at #1, and #2, respectively. The Ryzen 7 5800X comes in at #4 while the Core i7-12700KF and i5-12600K hold the #11, and #12 spots, respectively.

At Microcenter, the Ryzen 5 5600X continues to sit at the top of the stack, followed by the discounted Core i7-11700K, and the 12700K. The Core i9-12900K continues to impress by coming in at #6 with a price tag of 9. (mydelta8store.com)
