Intel Arc A770 Drops to $269: Cheaper than the NVIDIA RTX 3060 and Much Faster

Intel’s Arc A770 graphics card can now be had for less than $300. ASRock has dropped the price of its Phantom Gaming Arc A770 8GB to just $269, $60 below its sticker price of $319.99 and $40-$50 less than the GeForce RTX 3060. The Alchemist GPU features 512 vector engines (4,096 shaders) running at up to 2.1GHz and 8GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit bus. The SKU has an external bandwidth of 560GB/s and a TBP of 225W.

Despite being cheaper, the Intel A770 is 15-20% faster than the GeForce RTX 3060 in 1080p and 1440p gaming. It is also bundled with games and applications worth more than $100. What’s remarkable about the Arc A770 and A750 is their ray-tracing performance. They are faster than the RTX 3060 and RX 6650 XT in most ray-traced gaming workloads, with DX11 performance improving with every update.

The Arc A750 is the true rival to the GeForce RTX 3060. With a price tag of just $229, it matches the budget NVIDIA SKU in most DirectX 12 titles. Like its elder sibling, it also comes bundled with games and “creative apps” worth $100.
