Intel Arc A770 Announced: To Launch on 12th Oct for $329 with RTX 3060 Level Gaming Performance

Intel will launch its Arc Alchemist flagship GPU next month with a price tag of $329. Company CEO Pat Gelsinger unveiled the Arc A770 during the Intel Innovation Event in San Jose. The top-end SKU is set to hit retail on the 12th of October, right alongside the might GeForce RTX 4090. The chipmaker claims gaming performance on par or higher than the NVIDIA RTX 3060.

Intel is portraying itself as the messiah, bringing budget gaming hardware back to the masses. Ironically, the sticker price of the Arc A770 is the same as that of the RTX 3060. And the times of inflated GPU prices are more or less over. You can get an RTX 3060 for $329 or lower if you’re lucky.

Like NVIDIA, ray-tracing is the primary strength of the Arc lineup. The RT unit on Alchemist performs ray-generation, BVH generation and traversal, and ray-sorting. (cialis) This puts it ahead of the Ampere RT core but certainly behind the Ada core.
