It turns out that Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S processors will come paired with the Gen12 Xe graphics, bringing the first wave of Xe iGPUs to the mainstream desktop platform in 2021. This was confirmed by an SiSoft listing unearthed on Twitter by APISAK.

The iGPU in question is a 32CU part (256 shaders) running at around 1.2GHz. It has an L2 cache of 512KB, and although the score is rather modest, that’s quite normal considering the early stages in which the chip was tested. Unfortunately, there’s no info about the CPU such as the core count or clocks, so we can’t be sure whether this is the top-end Gen12 part for the desktop platform.
Intel 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S and Ice Lake-X HEDT CPUs Reportedly Delayed to 2021
Rocket Lake is expected to be a backport of the Willow Cove core to the 14nm node. It is expected to succeed Comet Lake-S in 2021. My guess is that Rocket Lake will launch on both the desktop and mobile platforms in 2021, the latter complementing Tiger Lake which (like Ice Lake) will be launched in limited quantities.
