At the time of writing this post, Epic Games Store has taken down the tweet confirming the title to be available starting today, and the Store itself is facing loading issues due to “high traffic”, as per their tweet:
One can only assume the earlier reveal kicked up a frenzy to acquire the game with users overloading the servers in doing so. It is expected to be resolved soon as the EGS staff is working on it. Until then, it may be difficult to add the game to your library. (lakegenevaadventures.com) Here is the reveal trailer recorded by a user (Wario64) before the tweet was deleted –
If you don’t own the game on PC yet, this would be a no-brainer to add to your library, even if you’re not interested in actually playing the game.
GTA V was released back in 2013 and then again in 2015 for the next gen, and has gone on to become the highest-grossing, single entertainment title of all time, essentially beating the likes of Avatar and Star Wars.
