Galax Confirms 20GB Variant of RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 Super/Ti

One of NVIDIA’s primary board-partners in Asia, Galax has also confirmed the existence of a 20GB variant of the RTX 2080 and a possible RTX 3070 Ti/ Super. The below picture was share over at the Chinese Baidu forums from a Galax presentation and shows NVIDIA’s plans to launch a 20GB SKU of the RTX 3080 and an additional card between the RTX 3080 and 3070, most likely the RTX 3070 Ti/Super.

The RTX 3060 is also mentioned in the slide which comes as no surprise. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a board partner talk about these cards. Earlier, Gigabyte also leaked info pertaining to these variants on its game bundle redeem website.

The RTX 3080 20GB is expected to launch after AMD unveils its much anticipated Big Navi graphics card which is expected to come with up to 80CUs and a 256-bit bus paired with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Depending on how powerful the GPU, NVIDIA will accordingly launch the RTX 3080 20GB or the RTX 3070 Ti. You can read more about RDNA 2/Navi 2x here.
