Forza Horizon 5 to Run at 4K 30 FPS on Xbox Series X, PC Requirements Revealed as Well

Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 will run at a default resolution of 4K 30 FPS on the Xbox Series X console with a performance mode allowing (60 FPS likely at 1440p). This is despite the fact that the main game won’t be utilizing ray-tracing, with the feature being limited to Forzavista. (rentalry.com) The budget-oriented Series S console, on the other hand, will be running the game at a paltry 1080p 30 FPS, with a performance mode allowing 60 FPS with some reduction in quality.

Meanwhile, the PC requirements for the game have also been announced. The minimum requirements are rather modest, with the eight-year-old Intel Core i3-4170 (3.7GHz) and NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti being the bare minimum for an acceptable experience. The complete list of PC requirements is as follows:

The Forza Horizon 5 Standard Digital/Disk and Deluxe Digital Editions release on November 9th, 2021. The Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition Early Access begins on November 5th, 2021, and will be available for Xbox Game Pass members and Standard Digital or Deluxe Digital Edition owners as part of the Premium Add-Ons Bundle for separate purchase.

The game is now available for pre-order across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC and can be added to your Wishlist on Steam. It’ll also be will be available with Xbox Game Pass at launch on November 9th, 2021. With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Forza Horizon 5 will be available to stream on Android Phones and tablets with Xbox Cloud Gaming with the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.
