Ethereum Founder Becomes a Billionaire as Ether Cross $3,000 and Surpasses NVIDIA’s Market Cap

Ethereum prices are at an all-time high as the second most popular cryptocurrency continued to gain rapidly in the first week of May, crossing the $3,000 mark for the first time and settling close to $3,400 at the time of writing. This makes Ethereum more valuable than NVIDIA in terms of market cap with an upper cap of nearly $400 billion (vs $369 billion for NV).

Ether outpaced brands like Disney, Bank of America, and PayPal with an increase of over 10% in the last few days. Ethereum founder, 27-year old Vitalik Buterin is now one of the world’s youngest billionaires with a worth of $1.029 billion. Meanwhile, Bitcoin regained much of its lost ground to approach the $60K mark once again
