Dying Light 2 PC System Requirements Out: RTX 3080 and Ryzen 7 3700X for 1080p 60 FPS w/ RT

Techland has revealed the PC system requirements of its upcoming title Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Following the success of its predecessor, Dying Light 2 combines masterful storytelling with post-apocalyptic zombie settings, and complex factions, culminating in a deep RPG experience. Although the game has been delayed several times, first due to internal issues, and then cos of the pandemic, Techland has restored much stability to the development team.

Over twenty years ago, we faced the virus in Harran … And we lost. And now a new defeat looms. The City, one of the last great settlements of humanity, is being destroyed by infighting. Civilization has returned to the Dark Ages. But hope remains.

You are a wanderer with the power to change the future of the City. But your exceptional abilities come at a high cost. You are haunted by memories that you cannot decipher, so you set out in search of the truth … and end up in the middle of a combat zone. Practice your skills because to defeat your enemies and make friends you will need both skill and strength. Discover the dark secrets of those who have power, choose your side and decide your destiny. And, whatever you do, don’t lose your humanity.

Running the game at the bare minimum graphics settings is easy-peasy, requiring a quad-core Ryzen 3 2300X or the Core i3-9100. On the GPU side, we’re looking at a GTX 1050 Ti or a Radeon RX 560. For 1080p High at 60 FPS, you’ll need a hex-core Ryzen 5 3600X or a Core i5-8600K paired with a GeForce RTX 2060/Radeon RX Vega 56.

For 1080p 60 FPS with ray-tracing enabled and the graphics settings dialed up to high, you’ll need a Ryzen 7 3700X or a Core i5-8600K along with the GeForce RTX 3080. The lack of a Radeon recommendation isn’t surprising as this is an NVIDIA partner title.
